Back pain, disc pain, spinal stenosis pain, and other back and nerve pain sufferers have found relief with lumbar disc decompression even when other surgical and non surgical treatments have failed.
Are you afraid of back surgery with the low success rate and the high risk rate?
Or have you been told just to live with your pain?
At Windmill Health Center, we have a noninvasive yet successful solution for you.
Lumbar disc decompression has been heralded as one of the major medical breakthroughs of the decade. And Dr. Browner and Dr. Behar are on this cutting edge. At Windmill Health Center, we use the latest and most technologically advanced chiropractic techniques to ensure long-term results for our clients.
Over time, the discs of your spine may deteriorate, bulge or herniate. A disc herniation can occur in any disc of the spine, but the most common form is a lumbar disc herniation.
Symptoms of a herniated disc can vary depending on the location of the herniation and the type of soft tissue involved. In many cases, severe and unrelenting pain will radiate into the region served by an affected nerve root that is irritated or impinged by the herniated material.
Spinal decompression gently pulls the vertebral joints apart.
It is believed this precise process produces a negative pressure inside the disc causing any herniated material to slowly recede away from the effected nerve root and back into the disc. Additionally, the disc is rehydrated, aiding in its restoration.
Lumbar disc decompression is NOT surgery.
At our Weston clinic, patients are fitted with a support system then positioned on a comfortable spinal decompression table. The purpose of the support system is to stabilize the patient’s body.
An advanced computer system (the DRX9000) elongates the spine in a slow, gentle manner in order to relieve pressure on compressed discs.
The procedure is virtually painless and some patients experience such a relaxing sensation, they have been known to fall asleep on the table!
Generally, a patient receives twenty treatments of spinal decompression over a six-week course of therapy. Each session consists of approximately a 30 minute treatment on the DRX9000. The patient regimen includes two weeks of daily spinal decompression treatment, followed by three sessions per week for two weeks, concluding with two sessions per week for the remaining two weeks of therapy.
As top Weston chiropractors, we are often asked if lumbar disc decompression can make a patient worse off than they already are (as can be the case with back surgery). The answer is NO!
If you suffer from any kind of compression related issue and are found to be a good candidate, chances are that you may get significant relief like the majority of our Weston chiropractic patients do. In fact, many get back to 100% pain-free in just a few weeks.
The reality is that most pain is caused by pressure. When someone has chronic back pain, herniated or bulging discs, degenerative disc disease, or spinal stenosis, the majority of cases are compression related. The extent of the compression and pinching will determine if you’re a good candidate for the treatment. An x-ray and lumbar MRI plus a thorough physical exam will reveal whether you qualify.
Most treatments don’t decompress the problem. They may work to minimize pain or restore function, but never truly deal with the pressure of gravity. Non surgical decompression actually reverses the pressure in the back and RESTORES disc height.
If you are interested in lumbar disc decompression, call our Weston chiropractic clinic. There is no longer a reason to live in pain! If you’re not comfortable with the lumbar disc decompression, we have many other chiropractic modalities to help you. Say goodbye to painkillers, steroid injections and other potentially harmful treatments and hello to a non-invasive, safe way to relieve your pain!
